Cleantech San Diego Presents at Green Connections
On November 11 and 12, the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce San Diego held its annual Green Connections conference to unite the Swedish and Southern California cleantech clusters, create clean energy opportunities, and build a foundation for a more sustainable economy. The tw0-day summit focused on water, waste, and energy, and included keynote presentations, panel discussions, educational sessions, and an exhibit with green technology and green inventions.
Among the presenters were Cleantech San Diego President Jason Anderson who delivered a keynote talk on San Diego’s sustainability strengths. Several Cleantech San Diego member organizations were represented during the program, including:

- Meena Westford, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
- Jacques Chirazi, Clean Tech Program, City of San Diego
- Kevin Hardy and Soma Bhadra, Encina Wastewater Authority
