On Friday, November 1, 2024, the University of San Diego School of Law will host its 16th Annual Lesley K. McAllister Symposium on Climate and Energy Law.

This year’s event will focus on how to make energy affordable and accessible as we decarbonize the electric supply and electrify transportation and buildings. Policymakers, practitioners, academics, and other experts will discuss the drivers of high electricity costs, customer impacts, and potential solutions. Cleantech San Diego’s Jason Anderson will moderate a panel on the topic of energy affordability. 

The Symposium will be an in-person event with an added virtual option for attendees. This event is co-hosted by the Energy Policy Initiatives Center (EPIC) and the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law.
