The University of San Diego School of Law will host its 18th Annual Lesley K. McAllister Symposium on Climate and Energy Law on November 6, 2026. This year’s theme, Powering the Future: Navigating the Impact of AI Data Centers and Electrification, explores the policy and regulatory solutions needed to manage growing electric demand driven by transportation and building electrification, AI data centers, and a changing climate. The Symposium will feature a Keynote Panel with California State Senator Steve Padilla, CPUC President John Reynolds, and CEC Vice Chair Siva Gunda, and panels with policymakers, industry practitioners, and academics.
