CalSEED and Rocket Fund Information Session (San Diego)

Cleantech San Diego and the Southern California Regional Energy Innovation Network invite you to join representatives from California Sustainable Energy Entrepreneur Development (CalSEED) and Rocket Fund to learn about two exciting funding opportunities for clean energy startups.
CalSEED (managed by New Energy Nexus) is providing $24 million in grants over five years to support innovators working on very early stage clean energy concepts. Awardees can receive up to $150,000 for proof-of-concept activities and have the chance to participate in a business plan competition for an additional $450,000.
Rocket Fund (managed by Caltech) partners with the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council, a consortium of California utilities, and the Moxie Foundation, to award $10,000 – $75,000 for turning sustainability-related lab innovations into viable products, ready for testing with customers.
