CalSEED and Southern California Energy Innovation Network Information Session (Riverside)

UC Riverside Center for Environmental Research & Technology (CE-CERT) invites you to join representatives from California Sustainable Energy Entrepreneur Development (CalSEED) and the Southern California Energy Innovation Network to learn about exciting funding opportunities and free business services available to clean energy startups in the Inland Empire.

CalSEED (managed by New Energy Nexus) is providing $24 million in grants over five years to support innovators working on very early stage clean energy concepts. Awardees can receive up to $150,000 for proof-of-concept activities and have the chance to participate in a business plan competition for an additional $450,000.

The Southern California Energy Innovation Network (managed by Cleantech San Diego) is a free program for startups based in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Imperial counties that are developing solutions to help California meet its energy goals. The program provides access to the resources of regional partner organizations and offers connections with industry in order to accelerate the commercialization of emerging energy technologies.
