San Diego Autonomous Vehicle Proving Ground

The U.S. Department of Transportation has recently designated the San Diego region as one of ten proving grounds for autonomous vehicles in the nation. The program will facilitate testing and validation of connected and autonomous vehicle technologies while ensuring public safety and security.

Cleantech San Diego members are invited to join us for a members-only breakfast with Antoinette Meier, Principal Regional Planner, SANDAG and smart city leaders from the City of Chula Vista, to learn more about how this initiative will bring together auto manufacturers, cities, public agencies, and private companies to inform public policy and long-range planning in support of the region’s goals for mobility, sustainability, and economic prosperity.
