Cleantech San Diego Breakfast Series (members only)
April 24, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Opportunity Zones 101
Opportunity Zones are a community development program established by Congress in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 as a way to encourage private investment in economically distressed, low-income census tracts through capital gains tax incentives. More than 8,700 census tracts are designated as Opportunity Zones nationwide, 47 of which are located in San Diego County.
Join us for a breakfast presentation with Joel Cohn of accounting firm CohnReznick to learn more about Opportunity Zones: what and where they are, how investments in clean energy projects can qualify, and how they encourage long-term investments in low-income urban and rural communities.
This is a members-only event. If you are interested in Cleantech San Diego membership, please contact jasona@cleantechsandiego.org.
