Xtelligent: Smart Traffic Signals for the Connected Transportation Future

Cleantech San Diego member and Southern California Energy Innovation Network company Xtelligent is developing the traffic signal network of tomorrow with their breakthrough innovation that optimizes smart traffic signals without expensive cameras.

By integrating algorithm research with innovative sensing and learning capabilities, Xtelligent is working towards improving road congestion by more than 50% at a 20-fold cost reduction. This is estimated to improve transportation efficiency by more than 20% while also enabling scaling of connected, automated, and electric vehicles.

Cleantech San Diego members are invited to join Xtelligent’s Transportation Infrastructure lead Michael Lim for an update about the company’s greenhouse gas-reducing technology and exciting research findings as validated through technical data analysis with the Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory.
