Cleantech San Diego Member Webinar (members only)
May 5, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Decarbonization and Building Electrification
Residential buildings produce roughly two-thirds of California’s building emissions, and commercial buildings produce around one-third.
In order to achieve long-term carbon neutrality goals, the state is focused on advancing toward zero-emission buildings to help maximize energy efficiency and provide good indoor air quality among other environmental and health benefits.
In this Cleantech San Diego Member Webinar, representatives of ENGIE, San Diego Green Building Council, and KMEA will give an overview of trends in decarbonization and building electrification, provide examples of relevant public sector case studies, and offer an outlook on state policies driving local decarbonization efforts.
Speakers:
- Courtney Bonas, Senior Project Manager, Sustainability & Energy, KMEA and Board Member, San Diego Green Building Council
- Margaret Miller, Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs, ENGIE North America Inc.
- Jamie Garrett, Business Development and Strategy Manager, ENGIE North America Inc.
