Climate Change and the New Energy Economy
October 24, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The transition to a new clean energy economy, powered largely by renewable sources, is already underway: How has climate change already impacted CA and how will it continue to influence the energy economy in California, nationally and globally? How can we cultivate an environment conducive to job creation and increase economic opportunity during the transition to mostly renewables?
What type of jobs will be needed in the new energy economy? What role will technological innovation play? How will renewable energy storage impact our ability to achieve state and local renewable energy goals? How can incentives for private corporations be better aligned with the broader policy incentive of increasing the share of renewable energy?
