Energy Storage Workshop
November 2, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 10:00 am
Free
The San Diego Green Building Council is partnering with Balboa Park Cultural Partnership’s Sustainability Program, Cleantech San Diego, and the Center for Sustainable Energy to offer a free energy storage technology workshop for commercial buildings. The workshop will be held in the Community Forum room at the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park.
This session will offer an introduction to the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP), a discussion about current energy storage technologies on the market today, environmental & financial benefits from installing energy storage, and feedback from project owners that have recently completed energy storage projects.
The goal of this workshop is to arm commercial building decision makers (e.g. facility directors, CFOs, operation managers, etc.) with the knowledge they will need to decide whether or not energy storage is right for them and to navigate the process from scoping through installation.
Panelists include Juliana Mandell, Director of Market Development and Policy, at Green Charge and Jamie Link, Associate Director, Distributed Electricity and Storage, at EDF Renewable Energy.
