EnergyTech University Prize Explore Event – California Region

February 29 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Cleantech San Diego and UC San Diego invite you to join us for the EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP) Explore Event, where 15 student teams from the California region will present their energy-related business plans as part of a Department of Energy (DOE) competition. Winners of this regional pitch event will be selected by a panel of industry judges and invited to advance to the national finals.

Sponsored by the DOE Office of Technology Transitions and in partnership with the American-Made Challenges, the EnergyTech UP competition challenges college students to compete for a total of $400,000 in cash prizes as they develop actionable plans for business and commercialization opportunities around high-potential energy technologies.

Cleantech San Diego’s Southern California Energy Innovation Network and UC San Diego’s Office of Innovation and Commercialization are co-conveners for EnergyTech UP’s California region.
