On January 16, Cleantech San Diego and Crest Creative invite you to joins us for an Education Series event exploring the acceleration of centralized to distributed energy resources. “The Great Transformation: Designing the Grid of the Future” will feature a dialogue with energy innovators, developers, startups, and utility experts exploring what it will take to design, operate, and maintain the grid of the future. The event is free to Cleantech San Diego members and $100 for non-members.
- The State of Energy Resources in the San Diego Region: This panel will explore how local energy leaders are currently helping California and the region meet its renewable energy goals while discussing current interconnection and deliverability challenges that could impact their projects.
- Designing the Grid of the Future: The grid of the future will require structural, technical, and strategic priorities that will help California meet its renewable energy targets while ensuring an efficient, reliable, and resilient energy grid. This panel will explore these topics and provide insight into the challenges and opportunities associated with modernizing the grid.
- The Technology to Get Us There: Existing technologies will only get us so far as we work to transform the grid. Panelists will discuss the technologies they are developing, how they will help the great transformation, and share thoughts on technical opportunities and challenges.
