Free Seminar Presented by DOE Pacific CHP TAP and Tour of UCSD Microgrid
DOE Pacific Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Technical Assistance Partnership and UCSD will lead a free seminar focused on natural gas-fired technologies that generate power while also providing heating and cooling needs (aka cogeneration). The seminar will cover combined heat and power technology applications and projects, available incentives, and showcase UCSD Microgrid with comprehensive distributed generation (DG) solutions, including a 2.8 MW bio-gas fuel cell with CHP and thermal energy storage.
Who should attend?
- Senior and middle management personnel responsible for capital projects, energy purchasing, facilities and meeting environmental goals
- Engineers and vendors working on CHP projects that include fuel cells, internal combustion engines, turbines and microturbines

- Solar-powered DC Fast Charging beta test site
- RWE EV Smart Charging (first smart charging project in the US)
