As a Program Manager for Cleantech San Diego, Zac oversees the Southern California Energy Innovation Network (SCEIN), a California Energy Commission funded-program that provides innovative energy startups in San Diego, Imperial, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties with access to commercialization services. Prior to joining Cleantech San Diego, he worked as a graduate intern with the Port of San Diego’s Aquaculture and Blue Economy Incubator and as a business and operations analyst at MAX Arts. Athletics. Wellness in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Zac earned his MBA from the University of San Diego where he concentrated in finance with a keen interest in impact investing. While at USD, he was Graduate Student Ambassador of the Year, President of the Management Consulting Association, and a recipient of the Deans Merit Scholarship. In addition, he won the WeSolv Entrepreneurial Pricing and Financial Modeling Case Challenge and was a runner up in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Zac is also currently studying for his CFA examinations.
