San Diego Council President Todd Gloria Addresses CleanTECH San Diego Board of Directors

CleanTECH San Diego’s March 18, 2014, Board of Director’s meeting featured a presentation by Todd Gloria, Council President of the City of San Diego, and most recently the City’s Interim Mayor. Councilmember Gloria reviewed several items of interest to CleanTECH San Diego members, including the proposed City of San Diego Climate Action Plan.

The current working draft of the Plan was published in February 2014 near the end of Gloria’s six month term as Interim Mayor. He stated that his goal is to create a plan that is specific and that challenges the community with aggressive goals. Gloria estimated the process to approve the plan would likely extend into the first quarter of 2015.
